Ashok Chaudhury is a registered architect and an expert in obtaining development project approvals. He has been instrumental in technical evaluation, strategic land acquisition & aggregation, consolidation, planning, feasibility and project approvals for real estate projects across India for leading real estate funds and developers over the past 18 years. At IREO he was instrumental in the aggregation of more than 5000 acres of land and liaison with various government authorities for approval of licenses, building plans, statutory approvals & permits, and coordinating with contractors & consultants on large township projects. Prior to this he was with EMAAR MGF and was responsible for approvals such as building plans, zoning & demarcation, statutory approvals. He has obtained approvals for more than 20 SEZ projects so far. Ashok has also worked with the Vatika group and obtained the first license of group housing, change in land use certificate, completion certificate, occupancy certificate & all related approvals such as building plans, zoning, statutory approvals from AAI, Fire Department MOEF, HUDA for Vatika’s commercial, residential and hospitality projects over hundreds of acres. He has also obtained change in land use certificate from Jaipur Development Authority, Rajasthan for 500 acres for development of an Integrated Township.
